Ten years ago, my perception of beauty was a full face of makeup. Makeup gave me my confidence, as well as my feeling of self-worth -until it didn’t.
The toxic, low-quality skincare and makeup products I’d been using had taken a detrimental toll on my skin before my very eyes, but I was terrified to face the world without a full face.
During a stroll through Little Tokyo, I stumbled into the world of Korean skincare and discovered plant derived, non-toxic, chemical-free products that became the catalyst for my career in skincare. Not only did they heal my damaged skin and restore my former glow, but they also ignited my passion for the transformative skincare methods that helped me regain my confidence.
As the founder of a revolutionary skincare company that emphasizes a skin-first mantra, with the sole focus on ‘healing over masking’, I’m using what I’ve learned to advocate for plant-derived, toxic-free ingredients in skincare products that empower others to redefine their beauty standards and achieve self-love and acceptance.
